Sim ROI

Last updated Jul 14, 2026

Sim ROI is a lineup's estimated return on investment from the contest simulator. Where real ROI is measured after your contests settle, sim ROI is projected beforehand, by playing your lineup out thousands of times against a realistic field and the contest's real payouts.

Why it matters

Sim ROI lets you compare lineups on the one thing that ultimately counts, expected profit, before you commit any money. A lineup with a high point projection can still have poor sim ROI if it is heavily duplicated or badly suited to the contest shape. The sim surfaces that gap so you enter the lineups most likely to make money.

Where you see it in DFS Hero

After a Build and Simulate run, a lineup's tournament sim ROI appears as its GPP Score. Sort by it to bring the most profitable tournament lineups to the top, and compare it later against your real ROI in the Bankroll Tracker.
