Exposure

Last updated Jul 14, 2026

Exposure is the fraction of your own lineups that include a given player. Roster a running back in 8 of your 20 lineups and your exposure to him is 40 percent. It is your personal stake in a player, not the field's.

Why it matters

Exposure is how you manage risk across a pool of lineups. Concentrate too heavily on one player and your whole slate rides on him. Spread too thin and you dilute your best reads. Setting exposure deliberately is how you turn a single opinion into a balanced portfolio.

Where you see it in DFS Hero

You control exposure per player with minimum and maximum limits in the player pool, and the optimizer respects them across your build. After a Build and Simulate run, you can also see how your exposures shift when you late-swap.
