Min & Max Exposure

Last updated Jul 14, 2026

Minimum and maximum exposure are the floor and ceiling you set on how often a player can appear across your lineups. A minimum guarantees a player shows up at least that often; a maximum caps how far the optimizer can lean on him.

Why it matters

These two limits are your main tools for shaping a pool of lineups. Raise a minimum on a player you love to make sure your best reads are represented. Lower a maximum on a risky or chalky player to keep your slate from over-committing. Together they turn a stack of lineups into a deliberate portfolio.

Set both values per player in the player pool. A couple of edge cases are worth knowing: setting a player's maximum exposure to zero removes him from your lineups entirely, and locking a player pins him at 100 percent exposure.
