Yes. DFS Hero is dense with tools for serious players, but the path from a fresh slate to a filled entry is a straight line that a beginner can follow on day one.
A guided start
When you first sign in, the Hero Academy checklist walks you through the core loop: open a slate, build your first lineups, export them, and upload your entries for tracking. You do not need to configure anything to get a strong, optimized lineup, since a fresh slate is ready to build as is.
Room to grow
As you get comfortable, the deeper features are there when you want them: simulating against a realistic field, shaping your player pool, and on the Power plan, Hero Chat, which can answer questions and dial in your build for you. This glossary and the rest of the help center explain any term you run into along the way.
